 Please don’t touch a wheelchair without permission!

Unfortunately this happened to me just a few days ago and made me feel very uncomfortable!
I understand that a lot of the time the intention is good and the person is only trying to help, but it is still important to ask consent before just pushing someone in a chair.
For me it sort of makes me think that they almost don’t see me as a person with the same rights to consent as someone else? I mean you wouldn’t go and push someone who was standing - but maybe I’m thinking too much about it!
