The luxuriously appointed Airbus A321neoLR (long range) was previously only available for set experiences, taking guests on round-the-world tours of Four Seasons resorts.The custom-designed jet has room for 48 guests in

side - this means that if you split the cost, you could enjoy a tailor-made experience for £1,923 ($2,391) a day or, as we discovered, around the price of a one-way direct economy flight from London to New York in June.

Four Seasons' private jet is now available for private charter bookings - and guests can set their own itineraries for $115,000 (£92,497) a day

Or less than a flight to Australia. An off-peak economy ticket from London to Sydney with British Airways in July could cost up to £2,000 ($2,486), while a flight with American Airlines in the same month could set travellers back as much as £5,500 ($6,838).

And this is without the luxurious amenities Four Seasons' Private Jet offers.

The custom-designed jet is equipped with spacious leather flatbed seats, a large lounge, extra-large lavatories and global Wi-Fi availability.

It includes service from ten in-flight crew members including three pilots, one engineer and six cabin crew. Guests can expect personalised iPads and an in-flight chef to whip up gourmet meals.

Once booked, the Four Seasons team members will work with each party to create a customised itinerary. For an additional cost, the team can organize everything from ground transfers and accommodation to on-location meals and tours.

Marc Speichert, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: 'We are delighted to offer this extraordinary opportunity to charter the Four Seasons Private Jet for the first time, in response to the many inquiries we have received from families and groups of friends interested in custom itineraries and travelling for celebratory events.

'With the added bonus of Four Seasons genuine care and service in the sky and on the ground, all one needs to do is sit back and enjoy the journey with your favourite people.'

The Four Seasons private jet is available for a limited time only between August 4 to 26 and December 20 to 27. The UK-registered plane has an extended range of eight to nine hours for non-stop flights and is only allowed one point of entry and departure in the U.S.
