This is introduction : How to manage overflow text in excel
1- Select on cell that have text overflow
2- Right Click On selected cell
3- Click On Format Cell
4- Click On Alignment Tab
5- On block "Text Control"
- Check on "Wrap text" If you would like that text enter
- Check on "Shrink to fit" If you would like that text decrease size fit the cell box
- Check on "Merge cells" If you would like that text still overflow cell
6- Click OK
7- Done.
When you type in a cell and the text is wider than the cell, the text overflows into the adjacent cells in the row. Thus, if there is any text in the adjacent cell, the text in the first cell is blocked by the text in the adjacent cell.
To hide the overflow text select the cell containing the text that's overflowing and complete the following steps:
1- Right-click on the selected cell(s) and select Format Cells
2- On the "Format Cells" dialogue box, click on the Alignment tab. Then, click on the Horizontal dropdown arrow to select Fill and click OK.
3- Done
