Fictionalizing his youth's climb to fame, and resulting grown-up crash-arriving into recovery and recuperation, Har'el throws Noah Jupe and Lucas Hedges as Otis Lort, exploring various stages in a frantic profession. LaBeouf takes on the challenging and remedial test of playing his very own variant dad, an ex-rodeo jokester and a criminal. Craftsman and artist FKA Twigs makes her element film debut, playing neighbor and related soul to the more youthful Otis in their nursery court inn home.
